When Blarney Castle #2 gas station first opened its doors in Bear Lake in 1933, the station’s owner - Denny McCarthy – prided himself on providing “superior customer service.” More than 75 years later, three generations of McCarthys continue this commitment to putting our customers first.

 As it was in 1933, Blarney Castle Oil and Propane is a Michigan-based, family-owned business. With more than 90 EZ Mart convenience store locations, propane and fuel oil service, commercial fuel and bulk lubricant sales, our primary goal is satisfying our customers.  We remain dedicated to providing you with fair and competitive prices, with nine offices in Michigan to serve you.

Today, at age 90, Denny McCarthy is still running the stations/business with help from his sons, grandsons, and 800 outstanding associates.  His 76 year commitment to his customers and employees is what drives Blarney Castle Oil and Propane. All of us here are proud to be a part of his legacy.

As we look ahead to the future, we are grounded by our humble beginnings and grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve our neighbors in Michigan.
